Organization Change

Why do organizations change?

Often, external strategic pressures create a need for adaptation: changing economic dynamics, shifting market conditions, the introduction and adoption of new technologies or the obsolescence of others, customer demands, or even social and political forces.

At other times, internal operational pressures create uncertainty: functional challenges in finance, technology, sales and marketing, performance and productivity concerns, or the need to implement new systems and processes.

Every organization must answer three simple questions: what do we do, how do we do it, who are we.  Strategy, Operations, Organization.  The answers help solve for the goals of performance, engagement, and adaptability.

But what are the gateways through which the functions impact the goals?  The strategist might say Innovation. Operations might insist on expense management.  Organizational developers may tout Learning.

We work with leaders to identify the gateways through which they can effect change in their organizations.
